Council Preliminarily Approves Fiscal Year 2025 Budget and Capital Improvements Program

On May 16, after months of hard work and compromise, the Council preliminarily approved a $7.1 billion Fiscal Year 2025 Budget and a more than $5.8 billion Capital Improvements Program reflecting Montgomery County’s collective values and meeting the needs of residents without raising taxes or increasing debt.
