Zero Emission Bus Depot Breaks Ground in Derwood

The David F. Bone Equipment Maintenance and Transit Operation Center (EMTOC) microgrid project (16700 Crabbs Branch Way) is the largest renewable energy-powered zero-emission bus depot in the nation and the first on the East Coast to produce green hydrogen on-site. By 2035, the depot is projected to accommodate 200 Ride On zero-emissions buses.
