Park and Recreation Month
On July 16, 2024, Council President Andrew Friedson and Councilmember Gabe Albornoz present a proclamation to Montgomery Parks and Montgomery County Recreation for Park and Recreation Month.
The work of the Parks and Recreation Departments furthers our County’s goals to protect our environment, share our history with residents and visitors, bring community members together, promote active lifestyles, and provide learning opportunities for the residents of Montgomery County.
The Council encourages all community members to get out and enjoy our award-winning medley of trails, parks, sports leagues, nature centers, senior centers, recreation centers, swimming pools, concerts, camps and summer programs.
