MCDOT Installs PHBs Throughout the County

More than 50 Pedestrian hybrid beacons (PHB) have been installed since 2018 and are pedestrian activated to help protect bicyclists and pedestrians cross the road by stopping traffic.

MCDOT is conducting outreach at locations near PHBs to educate residents on how to use them. Watch this short video to learn more and view locations here.
