Disability Employment Awareness Month
On Oct. 1, 2024, Councilmember Gabe Albornoz presented a proclamation recognizing National Disability Employment Awareness Month. The 2024 theme is “Empowering Possibilities”, highlighting the unique perspectives and talents that individuals with disabilities bring, while enhancing workplaces and strengthening our economy. The Council was joined by representatives of Soulfull Cafe.
