Hispanic Heritage Month 2024

On Oct. 1, 2024, the Montgomery County Council presented a proclamation Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. This year’s theme is "Pioneers of Change: Shaping the Future Together." The event highlighted three influential leaders within the Montgomery County community: Mariel Arévalo Ballón, Gianina Hasbun and Dr. Teresa Ramírez. These individuals have been pioneers of change, leveraging their strengths, leadership and dedication to bring about positive changes and set the stage for future generations in the County.
