Runway App creators Jacob Lee and Bryan Yung On Nov. 12, 2024, Councilmember Marilyn Balcombe presents a proclamation to Poolesville High School seniors Jacob Lee and Bryan Yung, who worked together to develop an app called Runway that provides small, daily #STEM lessons to expand users’ knowledge of STEM topics.

The duo began working on this app in January 2024, and by September 2024, the app was active on the Apple App Store with over 500 downloads in the span of three weeks. It has now been downloaded by over 1,000 users across 90 countries in less than two months.
