CE Releases Proposed FY26 Budget

On Friday, March 14, Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich released his proposed budget that includes the county providing free transportation on MCDOT Ride On buses. It also proposes funding additional electric buses, with a goal of 112 electric buses in the county’s fleet by July 2026 (there are currently 14 electric buses in the fleet).
