International Day of the Girl

On Oct. 7, 2025, Council President Kate Stewart presents a proclamation recognizing International Day of the Girl. She was joined by Shannon Babe-Thomas, executive director of Community Bridges, which is an organization that empowers girls from diverse backgrounds to become exceptional students, positive leaders, and healthy young women.
