Adopt a Shelter Dog Month

On Oct. 28, 2025, Councilmember Evan Glass presented a proclamation recognizing Adopt a Shelter Dog Month. Councilmember Glass was joined by members of the Montgomery County Humane Society and the Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center. Speakers included Caroline Hairfield, director of the Office of Animal Services and Cris Bombaugh, president and chief executive officer of the Montgomery County Maryland Humane Society.
