ORGANIZED KAOS

A group of students from Julius West Middle School, Parkland Middle School, Takoma Park Middle School and Lucy Barnsley Elementary School who combined to form a competitive robotics team were honored by the Montgomery County Council on June 21 after their Organized Kaos team won the 2016 Maryland State competition in March. Organized Kaos then went on to earn second place for “Team Work” in an international competition in Spain. At the ceremonies in Rockville, left to right, were: Coach Pankaj Oberoi, Rohun Dewan, team mentor Ishaan Oberoi, Kevin Franklin, Councilmember Craig Rice, Abhiram Kidambi, Arjun Oberoi, Anika Seth and Mihil Sreenilayam.
