Montgomery County Council President Roger Berliner’s weekly meeting with the media on March 20 covered a wide range of topics. President Berliner also told reporters that on March 21, he would be introducing a resolution before the Council “to condemn President Trump’s federal budget proposal and to urge the United States Congress to reject it on behalf of Montgomery County residents.” Council President Berliner said about 48,000 County residents work for the federal government and thousands more are contractors, and many of those residents could be impacted by the proposed budget.
