Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Week

Councilmember Roger Berliner and Council President Hans Riemer presented a proclamation on behalf of the Council recognizing the week of March 13-17 as Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Week. Councilmember Berliner and Dr. Seth Morgan, MD shared their personal experiences battling M.S. and encouraged all residents to educate themselves about M.S., an increasingly frequently diagnosed condition which affects the lives of more than 12,000 people in Maryland and 400,000 people in the United States.  Also pictured:  Paul Geller and Melissa McKenna, former president and vice president of Montgomery County Council of Parent-Teacher Associations.
