Test of National Wireless Emergency Alerts System

Help spread the word... We don't want folks to be surprised. On Thursday, April 5, between 10 and 11 a.m., our National Capital Region, including all of Montgomery County, is testing the national Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) system. Your cell phone and other mobile devices will vibrate and produce a loud warning signal before you receive a text-like message about the test.
