Tree House Tour de Cookie Day
Councilmember Sidney Katz presented a proclamation on behalf of the Council recognizing the annual Tree House Tour de Cookie Day. Happening on May 5, the Tour de Cookie is a family-friendly bicycle ride which raises awareness of child abuse and educates participants about the preventability of child abuse and neglect. The Tree House Child Advocacy Center serves as a dedicated partner with the Department of Health and Human Services to provide services for victims of child abuse and neglect, especially victims of childhood sexual abuse.
