Salvadoran-American Day Festival

County Executive Ike Leggett  participated in the announcement of the 9th Annual Salvadoran-American Day Festival to be held on Sunday, August 5th, at Montgomery College (Rockville Campus Parking Lot) at 51 Mannakee Street in Rockville. The festival is free and will include the annual Latino Health Fair co-sponsored by the county’s Latino Health Initiative; Salvadoran food, crafts, and music by local and international bands will be featured.

Leggett was joined by State Delegate Ana Sol Gutierrez, Montgomery College Provost Dr. Kimberly Kelly, COTSA Community Liaison Walter Vasquez, and Director of Community Affairs for the Embassy of El Salvador Sonia Umanzor during the announcement. View photos HERE.
