Ceremony of Remembrance

Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett spoke at a Ceremony of Remembrance to memorialize lives lost to drug addiction. The ceremony commemorated International Overdose Awareness Day, a global event aimed at raising awareness of overdose and reducing the stigma of drug-related deaths. Family members and friends remembered loved ones and lighted candles in their honor. The event was hosted by S.O.U.L. (Surviving Our Ultimate Loss) in partnership with Montgomery County and the Circuit Court’s Adult Drug Court.
