Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Councilmember Nancy Floreen presented a proclamation recognizing October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Montgomery County is fortunate to have many partners across various disciplines that raise awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer and provide services to those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. The Council was joined by Dr. Travis Gayles, County Health Officer, and Victoria Buckland, Chief Operating Officer of the Department of Health and Human Services.
