STEP UP: Stop Sexual Assault

VASAP works to reduce the incidence of rape and sexual assault through public education, media outreach and professional training. VASAP provides crisis and ongoing counseling, support and compensation services for victims of crimes committed in Montgomery County or crime victims who live in Montgomery County. VASAP volunteers provide 24-hour companion services to victims of rape, sexual assault and domestic violence at Montgomery County hospitals and police stations. Visit montgomerycountymd.gov/vasap
