Rockville, Md., Aug. 27, 2021—On Monday, August 30 at 12 p.m., Council President Tom Hucker and Council Vice President Gabe Albornoz will hold a media availability to discuss the ongoing efforts to reopen the Gwendolyn Coffield and Long Branch Community Recreation Centers and upcoming Council matters.
The duo will also discuss the County’s Triple-A bond rating, early voting and COVID-19 vaccination and testing requirements for Montgomery County employees as mandated by the County’s Board of Health regulation.
Montgomery County Health and Human Services Health Officer Dr. Gayles and Deputy Health Officer Dr. James Bridgers will join the media availability to provide a public health update.
The media availability will be held via Zoom and is for credentialed members of the media.
