ROCKVILLE, Md., Sept. 6, 2024—On Monday, Sept. 9 at 12:15 p.m., Montgomery County Council President Andrew Friedson will be joined by Council Vice President Kate Stewart during his media availability to discuss the Council’s upcoming vote on a resolution to Affirm Montgomery County’s Commitment to Protect Reproductive Rights, which is led by Council Vice President Stewart and cosponsored by the full Council.
Council President Friedson will also discuss the upcoming Attainable Housing Strategies initiative Listening Sessions, which include a series of six meetings to receive input from residents on allowing more types of homes to be built across Montgomery County.
Additionally, Friedson will provide a recap of his back-to-school tour with Montgomery County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Thomas Taylor.
