Montgomery County Council President Riemer to meet with media on May 14 at 12:30 p.m.

ROCKVILLE, Md., May 11, 2018—Montgomery County Council President Hans Riemer will meet with members of the media on Monday, May 14 at 12:30 p.m. to discuss key issues concerning the Council and its respective committees.  He also will discuss the Council’s ongoing budget deliberations and a joint letter with Frederick County sent to Governor Hogan and Secretary Rahn asking them to reverse the decision made by the Maryland Department of Transportation to indefinitely postpone the study of improvements on I-270 between I-370 and the City of Fredrick. 

Council President Riemer’s meeting with members of the media will be in the fourth floor conference room of the Council Office Building at 100 Maryland Ave. in Rockville.  

Council President Riemer meets regularly with members of the media to preview the Council’s weekly activities and discuss local issues. Most meetings are held on Mondays.
