The County Council will hold a public hearing on July 10 at 7:30 p.m., on the recently transmitted draft of the Bicycle Master Plan from the Montgomery County Planning Board. The draft master plan and appendix can be viewed here.
The master plan proposes a network of low-stress bikeways throughout the County to ensure that bicyclists of all ages and abilities can ride safely to transit stations, employment centers, shops, schools and other locations.
Community members are encouraged to sign up to testify by registering online or calling 240-777-7803. The deadline to sign up to testify is July 9 at 10 a.m. Speakers can also provide written testimony to the Montgomery County Council, 100 Maryland Avenue, Rockville, MD 20850 or by email.
