ROCKVILLE, Md., Oct. 19, 2018—Montgomery County Council President Hans Riemer will meet with members of the media on Monday, Oct. 22 at 11:30 a.m. to discuss key issues concerning the Council and its respective committees. He will discuss the Council’s Oct. 23 meeting with Paul J. Wiedefeld, General Manager of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), the County’s Climate Mobilization Work Group Report, and cell tower regulation through Zoning Text Amendment (ZTA) 18-11, Telecommunications Towers – Approval Standards, which is scheduled for a vote on Tuesday.
Council President Riemer’s meeting with members of the media will be in the Potomac River Conference Room (room number 6480) located on the sixth-floor of the Council Office Building at 100 Maryland Ave. in Rockville.
Council President Riemer meets regularly with members of the media to preview the Council’s weekly activities and discuss local issues.
