ROCKVILLE, Md., March 8, 2019—Montgomery County Council President Nancy Navarro will meet with members of the media on Monday, March 11 at 11 a.m. to discuss key issues concerning the Council and its respective committees. She will also discuss the County’s efforts to develop a Racial Equity and Social Justice Policy for Montgomery County Government and the community engagement kickoff meeting on March 13. In addition, Navarro will talk about her four-year strategic plan to implement a comprehensive early childhood education system in the County. Finally, the Council will begin its review of the County Executive’s Fiscal Year 2020 Recommended Operating Budget on March 15.
Council President Navarro’s meeting with members of the media will be in the Potomac River Conference Room (number 6480) located on the sixth-floor of the Council Office Building at 100 Maryland Ave. in Rockville. Directions to the building can be found here.
Council President Navarro will meet regularly with members of the media to preview items on the Council’s upcoming agenda and discuss local issues.
