For Immediate Release: Tuesday, March 19, 2019

In an effort to combat underage drinking in Montgomery County, the Department of Liquor Control (DLC) has created and distributed ID checking calendars for the nearly 1,100 alcohol license holders. The calendar includes a tear off ID checking section for sellers and servers and monthly regulatory tips, important licensing dates and training schedules.

“The Department of Liquor Control strives to educate licensees and provide them with tools to help them succeed,”   said Kathie Durbin, DLC’s division chief of Licensing, Regulation and Education. “These calendars are a great, free resource.”

The calendars have been distributed to each of the licensed establishments in Montgomery County to promote alcohol-related regulatory information.

The complimentary calendars were paid for by a grant from the National Alcohol Beverage Control Association. View the calendar on the DLC’s website.
