Vital Records’ Birth Certificate Section Closed Temporarily; Residents Urged to Visit Other Offices Around Maryland

The County’s birth certificate services will be closed temporarily and residents seeking birth certificates are urged to visit Vital Records’ offices in neighboring counties such as Frederick, Howard and Prince George’s.

Birth certificates for individuals born in Maryland are also available online at www.vsa.maryland.gov Individuals born in Maryland can visit any local health department to obtain a birth certificate.  Office locations in other communities include neighboring counties.  Check individual websites to confirm office hours and cost of birth certificates.
