Montgomery County’s Office of Human Rights and Commission for Women will co-host an employment law and information seminar on Thursday, June 6 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The seminar will be held at the Silver Spring Civic Building located at One Veterans Place.
The workshop will provide sessions on age discrimination, bullying and sexual harassment in the workplace, minimum wage requirements, pay equity issues and state and federal law updates. A complimentary lunch will be served.
“This employment seminar will provide participants with important updates on issues and laws, which support an equitable and positive workplace,” said Office of Human Rights Director Jim Stowe. “I encourage all employees, employers and interested parties to attend and participate in this informative workshop.”
