ROCKVILLE, Md., June 24, 2019—Montgomery County Council President Nancy Navarro will meet with members of the media today at 10 a.m. to discuss key issues concerning the Council and its respective committees. She will discuss the Council’s review of proposed zoning changes for accessory dwelling units that are aimed at providing more affordable and flexible housing options, the appointment process for the Montgomery County Planning Board, immigration resources and the County’s ongoing efforts to create a Racial Equity and Social Justice Policy.
Council President Navarro’s meeting with members of the media will be in the Potomac River Conference Room (number 6480) located on the sixth-floor of the Council Office Building at 100 Maryland Ave. in Rockville. Directions to the building can be found here.
Council President Navarro will meet regularly with members of the media to preview items on the Council’s upcoming agenda and discuss local issues.
