Voting advocates and community members ask Board of Elections to reconsider White Oak Recreation Center early-voting decision

What: Montgomery County Councilmembers Tom Hucker & Will Jawando will host a news conference on Friday, Sept. 27, to highlight the need for a 12th early-voting site in the county and to ask the Board of Elections’ to reverse its recent decision to reject it. To reverse its decision, the board would need to hold an emergency meeting on Monday, Sept. 30, which is the state deadline for early-voting site recommendations from counties.
