Tour of the Universities at Shady Grove
The joint E&C and PHED Committees will tour the Universities at Shady Grove's new Biosciences and Engineering (BSE) Education Facility. This new facility will be used by partner universities to provide programs in areas such as healthcare, biosciences, engineering, and computational science disciplines, as well as a community dental clinic. A formal ribbon cutting celebrating the opening of the new facility is scheduled for Nov. 7, 2019.
Jane Briggs, director of facilities and services for the Universities at Shady Grove (USG) will guide the tour. The tour will assemble at 10 a.m. in the lobby area outside the Priddy Library on the first floor of the Clifford and Camille Kendall Academic Center (Building III).
Visitors driving to the campus should park in the Traville Gateway Garage or the Shady Grove Garage. Ride-On Buses 43, 66, and 67 also serve the campus.
The E&C Committee will meet on Nov. 18 to discuss issues associated with the tour.
