ROCKVILLE, Md., Oct. 24, 2019—Olivia Aybar-Torres, therapist with the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services’s Victim Assistance and Sexual Assault Program; Maricé Morales, former state delegate and criminal and migration lawyer; Silvana Quiroz, consultant for the Coalition of Organizations Against Domestic Violence; and Adriana Gomez, survivor of domestic violence, will be the featured guests on En Sintonía con El Concejo del Condado de Montgomery (In Tune with the Montgomery County Council), this Friday, Oct. 25 at 2 p.m. on Radio America (WILC 900AM). The guests will discuss National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, focusing on its impacts on victims and families and the resources available in the County.
The Montgomery County Council and Radio America have entered a partnership that provides the Latino community with key information on issues and programs. The partnership also provides a forum for residents to express views and ask questions. The partnership includes the weekly one-hour show each Friday on the Washington metropolitan area’s most popular Spanish language station. Lilian Mass is the show’s host.
Each week, the show features guests talking about important issues before the Council and provides information about programs offered by the County to help residents.

ROCKVILLE, Maryland, 24 de octubre del 2019—Olivia Aybar-Torres, terapeuta con el Programa de Asistencia a Víctimas de Agresión Sexual del Departamento de Salud y Servicios Humanos del Condado de Montgomery; Maricé Morales, ex delegada estatal y abogada penal y migratoria; Silvana Quiroz, consultora de la Coalición de Organizaciones contra la Violencia Doméstica y Adriana Gómez, sobreviviente del abuso doméstico, serán las invitadas destacadas de la siguiente entrega de En Sintonía con El Concejo del Condado de Montgomery, que se transmitirá este viernes, 25 de octubre a las 2 p.m. en Radio América (WILC 900AM). Las invitadas discutirán el Mes Nacional de Concientización sobre Violencia Doméstica y se enfocarán en el impacto y los recursos disponibles en el Condado para víctimas.
