The Montgomery County Council will hold two public hearings on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. on the following special appropriations:
Special appropriation to the County Government’s FY20 Operating Budget - Department of Recreation - $203,484 to provide Senior Adult Programming at the Wheaton Community Recreation Center. Source: General Fund Reserves.
Special appropriation to the County Government’s FY20 Operating Budget, Office of the Inspector General - $272,881 for implementation of Bill 11-19. Source: General Fund Reserves.
The Montgomery County Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. on the following special appropriation:
Amendment to Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission’s (M-NCPPC) FY19-24 Capital Improvements Program for WMATA property acquisition: transfer of Montgomery County GO Bond appropriation from Legacy Open Space to Acquisition: Non-Local Parks - $6,800,000; and Special Appropriation to M-NCPPC Department of Parks’ FY20 Capital Budget for Acquisition: Non-Local Parks - $1,960,000. The public hearings will be held in the Third Floor Hearing Room of the Council Office Building, which is located at 100 Maryland Avenue in Rockville. The meeting will be televised live by County Cable Montgomery (CCM) on Xfinity channels 6 and 996, RCN channels 6 and 1056; and FiOS channel 30. It also will be available live via streaming through the Council website at http://tinyurl.com/z9982v8.
