ROCKVILLE, Md., January 10, 2020—Councilmember Craig Rice is the featured guest on today’s episode of En Sintonia con el Concejo del Condado de Montgomery (In Tune with the Montgomery County Council), airing at 2 p.m. on Radio America (WACA 900AM). Councilmember Rice represents District 2, which includes Barnesville, Boyds, Comus, Damascus, Hyattstown, Germantown, Clarksburg, Montgomery Village, Goshen and parts of Darnestown and North Potomac. He is the chair of the Education Committee and a member of the Health and Human Services Committee. Councilmember Rice will discuss County efforts to prevent human trafficking. Daniel Parra, director of the Small and Minority Business Development at the Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC), also will join the show to discuss how to be prepared for a changing economy in 2020.

The Montgomery County Council and Radio America have entered a partnership that provides the Latino community with key information on issues and programs. The partnership also provides a forum for residents to express views and ask questions. The partnership includes the weekly one-hour show each Friday on the Washington metropolitan area’s most popular Spanish language station. Lilian Mass is the show’s host.

Each week, the show features guests talking about important issues before the Council and provides information about programs offered by the County to help residents.
