Montgomery County to Celebrate ‘Bike to Work Day’ With 16 Pit Stops

Montgomery County will join this year’s regionwide “Bike to Work Day celebration on Friday, May 15. Registration opens March 1.  The first 20,000 to register and participate will receive a free T-shirt, refreshments and entry into a raffle for a new bicycle.

Six pit stops will be hosted by the Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) and participants will be entered in a raffle for a free bicycle at each of those pit stops, as well.

Bike to Work Day is open to riders of all ability levels. This year’s event will have a total of 115 pit stops throughout the Washington Metropolitan region of Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia.
