County Council Vice President Hucker to hold news conference on balloon ban bill on Feb. 25

Montgomery County Council Vice President Hucker, along with environmental advocates, will hold a news conference Tuesday, Feb. 25, on Bill 6-20, which will protect wildlife by banning the outdoor release of helium-filled latex or mylar balloons.

At that morning’s County Council session, Vice President Hucker is scheduled to introduce the bill.

Expected to join him at the news conference are the following representatives of environmental and animal protection organizations:
