At an upcoming public hearing, residents will have an opportunity to present oral and/or written comments concerning construction of sidewalks in the Kemp Mill Estates community in Silver Spring. The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will hold the meeting on Wednesday, March 25, at 7:15 p.m. in the all-purpose room of Kemp Mill Elementary School, located at 411 Sisson Street, Silver Spring.
For those who cannot attend the hearing in person, it will be broadcast live online at montgomerycounty.adobeconnect.com/kempmillsidewalks.
Audio and video of the hearing will be recorded and may be posted online at the conclusion of the hearing.
The proposed sidewalks will enhance safety for those with disabilities, pedestrians and bicyclists as they travel to schools and nearby facilities. Public input helps determine whether or not to proceed with constructing all or a portion of the sidewalks.
