ROCKVILLE, Md., March 5, 2020—Montgomery County Council President Sidney Katz will meet with members of the media on Monday, March 9 at 11:30 a.m. to discuss key issues concerning the Council and its respective committees. He also will discuss his recently introduced legislation to establish operating requirements for low-speed electric scooters and the Council’s work on the capital budget. In addition, he will recap the Council’s March 3 briefing on coronavirus (COVID-19) preparedness and preview the Council’s senior town hall meeting at Leisure World in Silver Spring on March 11.
Council President Katz’s meeting with members of the media will be in the Potomac River Conference Room (number 6480) located on the sixth floor of the Council Office Building at 100 Maryland Ave. in Rockville. Directions to the building can be found here.
Council President Katz will meet regularly with members of the media to preview items on the Council’s upcoming agenda and discuss local issues.
