Prize-winning Washington Post Journalist Michelle Singletary Joins the Contemporary Conversations Series at Montgomery County Public Libraries

Michelle Singletary, prize-winning journalist and nationally syndicated personal finance columnist for The Washington Post, will be part of Contemporary Conversations @ MCPL. The free event will take place at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 4 at the Wheaton Library located at 11701 Georgia Ave. in Silver Spring. A book sale by the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County and book signing by Singletary will follow the presentation.

A frequent contributor to various NPR programs and a regular presence on all major networks, NBC, CBS, CNN, PBS and MSNBC, Singletary is well known for taking complicated financial terms and concepts and making them easier to understand. For Contemporary Conversations @ MCPL, she will provide an informative and entertaining presentation on how to understand personal finances, inspiring participants to learn more about money management and to take better control of their financial affairs.
