Statement from Council President Katz on the passing of Kelli Robinson

For Immediate Release: Thursday, June 4, 2020

ROCKVILLE, Md., June 4, 2020—Montgomery County Council President Sidney Katz made the following statement on the death of Ms. Kelli Robinson who passed away on June 2. Ms. Robinson worked for the Council's Office of Legislative Oversight for eight years and for Montgomery County’s Department of Health and Human Services for five years.

The Council sends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Ms. Kelli Robinson who served the residents of Montgomery County for more than a decade. As we mourn the loss of a member of our Council family, we also remember the good times she shared with all of us and the difference she made, especially in the lives of her Office of Legislative Oversight colleagues. As an administrative specialist, Kelli kept program evaluations and public policy research on track. She approached her work with professionalism, and regardless of how busy she was, she always took the time to help others. Kelli's generous spirit made her a fantastic colleague and great friend. May she rest in peace.
