MCDOT Announces Labor Day Holiday Schedule for Monday, September 7

For Immediate Release: Friday, September 4, 2020

Below are transportation-related schedule changes for the Labor Day holiday, Monday, September 7:

• County Offices – Closed;
• Ride On/ Ride On extRa – Operates on a Sunday schedule.  For more information visit montgomerycountymd.gov/DOT-Transit/essential-plan.html;
• Ride On Flex – Not in operation due to health crisis;
• Metrorail and Metrobus – Information is available at wmata.com/service/status;
• MARC Train and Commuter Bus – Information is available at mta.maryland.gov/service-for-labor-day;
• TRiPS Commuter Store at Silver Spring Transit Center – Open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information visit montgomerycountymd.gov/dot-transit/holiday_schedules.html;   
• TRiPS Mobile Commuter Store – Not in operation due to health crisis; 
• Parking at Public Garages, Lots and Curbside Meters - Free;
• Shared Streets Program – Closures: Arlington Road is closed to cars and open to pedestrians and cyclists to connect Downtown Bethesda to Montgomery Parks’ car-free Little Falls Parkway from 9:00 a.m. Friday, September 4, to 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 8.
