Montgomery County Government Closed Thursday, Feb. 18, Due to Weather Conditions

For Immediate Release: Wednesday, February 17, 2021

Montgomery County Government is closed Thursday, Feb. 18. Essential personnel scheduled to work onsite must report at their regularly scheduled times. County facilities, other than Public Safety facilities, are closed.

Essential employees scheduled to telework are required to work remotely as scheduled, unless instructed by their supervisor to report to the worksite.

Nonessential employees scheduled to work onsite:

• Who are already telework-approved are required to telework, with supervisor approval, for their regularly scheduled hours.
  
  
• Who are not telework-approved should not report to work for the duration of the General Emergency period that affects their work schedule, unless instructed by their supervisor to do so.

Nonessential employees scheduled to telework are required to work remotely as scheduled.

County-provided recycling and trash collections for residents scheduled for Thursday have been postponed until Friday, Feb. 19 due to winter conditions.
