Council President Hucker and Vice President Albornoz hold media availability on Feb. 22 at 11 a.m. to discuss Covid-19 vaccinations, the Maryland RELIEF Act, expanding the Earned Income Tax Credit and efforts to increase clean energy

Rockville, Md., Feb. 19, 2021—Council President Tom Hucker and Vice President Gabe Albornoz will hold a media briefing on Monday, Feb. 22 at 11 a.m. The duo will share information on the ongoing Covid-19 vaccine rollout, the Maryland RELIEF Act, expanding the Earned Income Tax Credit for residents and efforts to increase clean energy in Montgomery County.

They will also cover important Council matters, including the Council's ongoing work on the budget savings plan, the public hearing on the Shady Grove Sector Plan Minor Master Plan Amendment and upcoming town hall meetings focused on Covid-19 vaccination efforts.

Montgomery County Health and Human Services Director Dr. Raymond Crowel will join the media availability and provide a Covid-19 public health update.

The media availability will be held via Zoom and is for credentialed members of the media only.
