ROCKVILLE, Md., Feb. 23, 2021—Tomorrow at 7 p.m. Councilmember Sidney Katz will be joined by special guests State Senator Nancy King and the President and Chief Executive Officer of Westat, Dr. Scott Royal for a virtual townhall meeting to hear from small business owners.
“With many small businesses dealing with various challenges caused by the COVID-19 global pandemic, this is an important opportunity for small business owners to ask questions and voice their concerns,” said Councilmember Sidney Katz, who serves as chair of the Public Safety Committee and serves on the Council’s Government Operations and Fiscal Policy Committee. “As a former small business owner, I understand the challenges being faced today and it is important to have these discussions so that we can provide updates on the efforts the County is taking to help our small business community.”
