Courtesy Copy: Council President Hucker and Vice President Albornoz hold media availability May 3 at 11 a.m. to discuss the latest public health guidelines, FY22 Operating Budget deliberations and planning for unaccompanied minors

Rockville, Md., April 30, 2021—On Monday, May 3 at 11 a.m., Council President Tom Hucker and Council Vice President Gabe Albornoz will hold a media availability to provide an update on the County’s public health guidelines in line with the latest County Board of Health regulation. The duo will also address recent Council discussions on the FY2022 Operating Budget.

Council Vice President Albornoz will provide an update on the most recent information about County services for unaccompanied children who arrive after fleeing violence in their home countries.

Montgomery County Health and Human Services Director Dr. Raymond Crowel will join the media availability and provide a public health update and information on vaccination efforts.

The media availability will be held via Zoom and is for credentialed members of the media.

The public can watch on the Council’s Facebook page (@MontgomeryCountyMdCouncil).
