Council President Hucker and Vice President Albornoz hold media availability on June 7 at 12:30 p.m. to discuss COVID-19 vaccination efforts and upcoming Council matters

Rockville, Md., June 4, 2021— On Monday, June 7 at 12:30 p.m., Council President Tom Hucker and Council Vice President Gabe Albornoz will hold a media availability to provide an update on COVID-19 vaccination efforts and details on upcoming events.

The duo will outline the Council’s summer schedule, discuss the opening of the new Avery Road Treatment Center and more.

Montgomery County Health and Human Services Deputy Health Officer Dr. James Bridgers will join the media availability to provide a public health update.

The media availability will be held via Zoom and is for credentialed members of the media.

The public can watch on the Council’s Facebook page (@MontgomeryCountyMdCouncil).

Members of the media must RSVP before 11 a.m. on June 7 to Susan Kenedy at Susan.Kenedy@montgomerycountymd.gov to receive the Zoom login information.
