Council President Hucker and Vice President Albornoz to Hold Media Availability on Oct. 18 at 11:30 a.m. to Discuss New Legislation, Public Health Updates and other Council Matters

Discussion will include legislation establishing a property tax credit for County first responders, upcoming public hearings and more 

 

Rockville, Md., Oct. 15, 2021— On Monday, Oct. 18 at 11:30 a.m., Council President Tom Hucker and Council Vice President Gabe Albornoz will hold a media availability on upcoming legislation, public hearings and other Council matters.  

 

The duo will provide information on Bill 39-21, which would establish a property tax credit for County first responders. Council President Hucker will also discuss the Small and Minority Business Webinar taking place on Oct. 18 at 5:30 p.m. 

Montgomery County Health and Human Services Public Health Emergency Preparedness Manager Sean O’Donnell will join the media availability to provide a public health update.

The media availability will be held via Zoom and is for credentialed members of the media.

The public can watch on the Council’s Facebook page (@MontgomeryCountyMdCouncil).
