Councilmember Katz Invites Residents to an Online Community Conversation on Feb. 4 at 12:30 p.m. with President & CEO of Westat in Rockville

ROCKVILLE, Md., Feb. 1, 2022 — Councilmember Sidney Katz will host another installment of “Sidney’s Community Conversations” on Friday, Feb. 4 at 12:30 p.m. and invites all residents to join him for an engaging conversation about a local business. The event will take place on the online video communications platform Zoom.

“Sidney’s Community Conversations” is a monthly series of online events where Councilmember Katz invites community businesses to join him for a fun and casual conversation. During this episode, Councilmember Katz will be joined by Dr. Scott Royal, President and CEO of Westat, which is located in Rockville.

Westat is an employee-owned professional services corporation that provides research services to agencies of the U.S. government, businesses and foundations. The corporation conducts research studies in behavioral health and health policy, clinical trials, education, public health and epidemiology, social policy, as well as economics and transportation. The company is one of Montgomery County’s largest employers.
