Montgomery Commission for Women and Montgomery Women to Hold Free Virtual Career Seminar for Middle and High School Females TONIGHT, Thursday, Nov. 17

For Immediate Release: Thursday, November 17, 2022

The Montgomery County Commission for Women and Montgomery Women will host a free virtual career guidance session for middle and high school female students titled, “A Virtual Career Exploration for Her,” from 7-8:30 p.m. TONIGHT, Thursday, Nov. 17. The presentation will be hosted via Zoom.

The event will offer an opportunity for middle and high school female students to begin exploring careers of their interest and that are non-traditional for women. It will give students the opportunity to hear from professional women who will share their experiences, knowledge and education and will relate factors important to enter their line of work.

Panel discussions will look at careers ranging from fire services, STEM careers, the law and entrepreneurship.

Students who complete and return a small survey at the end of the event can receive Student Service Learning Hours (SSL Hours)—a maximum of two—for their participation.

Pre-registration is required. To register, click here.
