“The 200-member strong DEP team is deeply committed to protecting and improving Montgomery County's air, water and lands. DEP staff work hard every day to serve the people who live, work and play in the County,” said Acting Director Hochberg.  “In 2022, the team delivered innovative services and programs to save energy, restore the natural environment, reduce waste and clean our water. In 2023, we will continue to partner with our community members and businesses to shape a better future.”

DEP created its first department-wide year-in-review video in 2020 to share the work of the department and help residents and businesses understand how DEP is making the County cleaner and greener.
